So my HDD corrupted and I had to install a new one losing all data, and so when I go to redownload FF14 I get a message saying unable to download since I already own it. If Yes the launcher will automatically begins to download your client. I guess you chose 'No. I do not possessed Square Enix Account.' So the launcher simply wanted your registration code to confirm that you bought the game instead. And why would anyone choose that If you already possessed the account anyway -. Hope this help.

Other Thoughts: First order never got past 'Order Verification,' I was told this was likely due to the phone number associated with my account & payment method not matching the bank's file. On suggestion of customer support, cancelled the order, corrected the phone number and double-checked all billing info. Placed second order, waited two hours, nothing. Consulted customer support again, was told that order likely flagged for manual verification, they generously offered to expedite the verification, but conceded the order wouldn't be reviewed until next day (purchased on a Sunday). Thanked them for the offer but declined, cancelled second order, gave up.
Pros: None.
Cons: Waited 24 hours only to not get any download. My PayPal was charged but no sign of refund and the order # just doesn’t exist anymore.
