AVIAddXSubs is a simple to use, free program for merging subtitles with AVI video files.
You can download AVIAddXSubs here.
The downloaded file will be a zip file which you will need to unzip using a file archiver program, such as WinRAR, WinZip or 7-Zip.
Note: Make sure that the SRT file and the video file are in the same folder and have the same file name (e.g., MovieName.avi and MovieName.srt).
This process only takes a few minutes (or a few seconds), and it doesn't convert the video so the quality of the video will remain the same.
The subtitles will not be burned-in the video so the user will be able to turn the subtitles on and off.
1. Double-click on AVIAddXSubs.exe to open the program.

The PlayStation 3 is much more than a gaming console. It has a hard drive that allows you to store large media files, such as movies, on the system. If you have a movie on your computer and want to move it, you can transfer it to your PS3 with a USB flash drive or external hard drive.
Transfer a video file from your PC to a USB flash drive or a USB external hard drive. If you're using an external hard drive, make sure it is formatted to FAT-32.
Plug the flash drive or external hard drive into an available USB port on the front of the PS3 console. There will be two or four ports, depending on the model of system you have.
